I have an x400 waiting to go on the Isler 15" carbon fiber tube at 12'clock once they get the next batch or two ready. Currently have the light/laser mounted on the bottom rail until the carbon fiber tube comes in. With the factory handguard the x400 takes up 3/4 of the 510c window when mounted on top. It's fairly easy, just gotta make sure you get the barrel nut cranked on to the right spec, then all you need are the keys they include to get the trunnion lined up, tightened up, and the probably tap the handguard onto the trunnion and install the screws. I wish I had gone with the Smoke hand guard at a custom length. The two nut clamp on the Faxon just gets in the way of a mag well grip, but it's just nitpicking. I have the Smoke stock with the closed shoulder, cheek rest, buttpad upgrade, in rifle length. The inside of the ring measured 1.53 inches, so some suppressors will fit inside the handguard. Don't worry about heat when doing this, the carbon fiber mitigates heat great!
